Character Filled Family Home
This project involved designing family friendly spaces to work for a family of five. Small renovation works were carried out to improve the flow and functionality of the spaces. Rather than create one large open plan space, smaller spaces were kept to provide different zones for the family to use.
The house was a blank canvas and colour was used to add warmth and character.
Sustainable design principles were implemented to ensure the home was adaptable as the children grew. A connection to nature was very important to the homeowner as was the investment in key pieces, vintage and new, to create a character filled home.
